Role playing as the “Rare Item Hunter Mistral” on the game, she would search for rare items in both dungeons and the inventories of fellow players to be traded. It was during a session of playing like this that leads her to meet Kite. After witnessing his use of “Data Drain” (More info at http://dothack.wikia.com/wiki/Twilight_Bracelet) on a Data Bug, she joined him in hopes of seeing him use it more. Through him, she met many of his other online friends, including BlackRose. Though BlackRose did not particularly care for Mistral at first, Mistral tried to get closer to the girl. She gave the high schooler support during times of stress, and listened attentively whenever she needed to get things off of her chest. Before long, they became much like sisters, chatting about their favorite stores and hobbies, as well as concerns and troubles. For a while, Mistral followed Kite and/or BlackRose on adventures through different areas without realizing that anything was amiss with the game. It was not until she tagged along with both Kite and BlackRose to an area that was severely torn up by viruses that she began to notice something was wrong, and even then it took a while to dawn on her. Though Kite tried at first to explain the situation to her, she did not understand that he was telling her what was really going on. She assumed that he was giving her the background plot that he role played off of, and it was not until the three fought with Cubia that she fully realized the truth behind the matter: The game was no longer safe, and player’s consciousnesses and, possibly, their lives were at stake. Knowing now that not only was she pregnant, but that she was playing a potentially dangerous game, she contacted Kite and informed him with regret that she was going to leave The World for a while. She could not bear the idea of harming her child by stumbling into a virus by mistake, but promised to support Kite from outside of the game. Logging out of The World, she contacted BlackRose and gave her real name, as well as requested that they meet in real life. Taking the train, she met up with Akira Hayami in Yokohama’s Chinatown, and revealed to Akira her pregnancy. After spending a day shopping together, Mayumi tells Akira of her decision, but encourages Akira to keep in contact and chat with her about anything. Mayumi, working at home on maternity leave, found herself missing the excitement of the game. Though she still chatted with BlackRose over e-mail, she couldn’t help but worry how her friends would fare in the game, and wished dearly that she could go back and aid them in their saving of the World. Her concerns strengthened as the real world began to be affected by events in the World, especially when BlackRose told her that they were caused by battles between Kite and the Phases. Resolving to help, she logged on once more as Mistral just in time for the final battle with Cubia. Helping Kite and BlackRose in their fight with her skillfully executed spells, the players managed to triumph over Cubia and save the world, both virtual and real. Despite becoming a famed .Hacker, Mistral left the game once again after the birth of her child, Mirei. Giving her old avatar to Mirei as a gift, she let her daughter experience the joys and wonders of the online game that she had worked to protect. However, she found herself logging on yet again when an old friend asked her to help the “heirs to the .Hackers”. Contacting other friends to set things up so that the “heirs” could make their way to the Net Slums and to Aura with relative ease, she was about to hand the game back over to Mirei when she was taken, as the avatar, to Memento Eden. Personality: Mistral is a cheerful and childish woman who loves to goof off and have fun. With her voice and avatar, she could easily be mistaken as much younger, possibly a teenager. She is generally very good natured, and is always up for an adventure, especially if it includes the finding of rare items. When not being extremely energetic, she can display a more motherly side. She is always there to listen to another person’s venting, and can even give useful advice at times. She cares about the people around her, and is very kindhearted. Mistral is a very social person. She enjoys being around others, especially friends. She is happy to talk about anything and everything, from serious discussion to where one likes to buy their clothes. She also has an optimism that spreads out to those around her, lightening the mood even in the gloomiest of times. When it comes to household chores, Mistral is your woman. She is a good cook, so long as she is not distracted, and is accustomed to doing laundry and other such tasks. She tends to be very good at getting things done on time, unless her attention is caught by something more concerning or entertaining (such as The World, for example). In battles, she can be a quick and talented caster. Using both support and attack spells, she can keep the enemy at bay and her or her companion’s health high (this would, of course, only be useful if she got spells, or if she remembered her own). As far as physical attacks go, she is extremely weak, and cannot take much damage before she goes down. Item Lost: Her real name Notes: As the character was being played up until Mistral took over again, I’d like her to have weapons and equipment to allow her to use some skills once she remembered enough to actually use them. They’re middle-ish in level, as Mireille was the one playing up until that point. The weapon and armor I would like to have her equipped with are: Cygnus Rod - Lv.45 Skills: PhaRue Rom, MeRue Zot, War Headband - Lv.46 Skills: Ola Repth, Thunder Cloak - Lv.31 Skills: Rai Kruz Able Ring - Lv.46 Skills: MeRai Don, Rig Saem As far as what the skills are, here’s a basic idea: PhaRue Rom – Creates a tornado made of water MeRue Zot – A pillar of water surges up from under the target. Ola Repth – Recover health of targeted person and those around them Rai Kruz – Lightning converges onto the target. MeRai Don – Lightning spell Rig Saem – Slowly heals target for a period of time. The crossed out spells will not be used because I don’t actually remember what Merrows Ch does or looks like, and Rip Maen would grant Mistral the power to revive the dead, which I’m sure you guys do NOT want her to be able to do. | ||
